“No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit for doing it.” ― Andrew Carnegie
I have learned PaRisHa Taylor the value of the adage “Leaders lead from the front.” It means that you don’t phone in your leadership – you work with your people in the middle of it. It doesn’t mean, however, that as a leader, you have to do it all. That’s not leadership – that’s control. It’s also ineffective. Learn the strengths of your team and be visible – not on the sidelines, not behind – lead from the front.
